Hot Springs and More: Termy Bukovina’s Endless Offerings

I know that hot springs are always a hit with many of my readers. I can’t resist visiting them too, no matter what the weather. This time I’d like to share our experience at Termy Bukovina in Podhale. Remember that not all spas are the same – each one offers something unique. We invite you to take a virtual tour and see what you can expect at Termy Bukovina.

Bukowina Tatrzańska is a charming town nestled in the Tatra Mountains. If you enjoy family walks, you’ll find an abundance of scenic routes surrounded by stunning mountain scenery. The Bukovina Spa is located on the edge of the Tatra National Park. It is not only a place to relax, but also a therapeutic and rehabilitation center.

Bukovina waters are rich in: sodium, calcium, chlorine, potassium, sulphur, magnesium and chromium. Bathing in these local springs is very beneficial for the locomotor and cardiovascular systems. It also helps to relieve pain and inflammation, regulate hormonal balance and boost metabolism.

From my own experience, I can say that soaking in these waters works wonders for well-being and stress reduction. I always come back feeling completely relaxed. The thermal waters also have a remarkable effect on the immune system, especially when the weather is less than ideal.

The Healing Power of Thermal Waters

I admit, a dip in Termy Bukovina’s thermal waters is far from an ordinary bath. It’s a rejuvenating and relaxing experience all in one. Rich in minerals such as sodium, calcium, chlorine, potassium, sulphur, magnesium and chromium, these waters offer numerous health benefits and even enhance your beauty.

Immersing yourself in these mineral-rich waters has a positive effect on the entire body, especially the musculoskeletal and cardiovascular systems. It also helps to eliminate pain and inflammation, accelerate metabolism, and improve recovery. Bathing in the Bukovina Baths also strengthens the immune system, improves mood, reduces stress, and helps to combat insomnia.

Family Fun Awaits at BUKOVINA Thermal Baths

Termy Bukovina in Bukowina Tatrzańska is designed for families with children, offering a wide range of activities for parents and children alike. Separate areas ensure that everyone can relax and enjoy themselves without being disturbed.

There is a large area for children and teenagers, where they can play in the rushing river and splash in the shallow „Mocydelek” pool (0.4 m deep), while older children can use the deeper pool with a net for water climbing. There is also a 100 meter long slide called „Wartko Ruła”. The outdoor pools can be accessed from the children’s area.

While the children are having fun with the water attractions, the parents can relax in the hydromassage pools. The „Bulgotnik” massage, which covers all parts of the body from the shoulders to the feet, is very popular in the BUKOVINA Spa. Interestingly, the bubbles released are slightly cooler, which improves blood circulation, skin health and even firmness.

After enjoying the water and relaxing, you can visit one of the restaurants in the thermal pools:.
